Welcome to Real Estate Restated Podcast. It’s sad, but true – the real estate industry is broken. In the eyes of our clients it can’t be trusted and the commissions charged are, well lets just say – not exactly good value. But that’s not all, it’s also broken for the large majority of agents who are expected to do things that go against our character, in order to survive. Enough is enough. It’s time for a new world of real estate. A world where our industry is not only respected and valued, but more importantly is highly trusted. An industry that actually does put our clients best interests above all else and creates genuine value for the communities we serve. An industry that as agents, we are truely proud to be a part of. So I propose we reject the traditional industry way of thinking. Let’s apply some common sense and have a good look at how this industry really works. Let’s state what we all know to be true but have failed to do anything about: there is an underlying force in real estate constantly working against us all – robbing consumers of their trust and equity, and agents of their dignity. Let’s name that force, accept it as our enemy and look at how to overcome it.
